/4/2020 Update

We have responsibly reopened on May the 4th, 2020. Dr. Zwick has a message to share with you:

COVID-19 Update4/28/2020 Update

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • We are requesting you to please wear a mask upon entering and exiting our office. If you do not have your own mask, we will be happy to provide you one.
  • Please remain in your vehicle until our staff has contacted you and confirmed that your treatment room is ready. You can call our office directly when you arrive, or you can text us at 937-771-6003.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, every patient, and our staff safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 937-653-8650 or visit our website at www.champaigndentalgroup.org.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

3/31/20 Update

Champaign Dental Group will be seeing Dental Emergency patients only through April 30th.

We will be rescheduling all non-emergency patients. We will be calling you as soon as we can but we welcome your call too in the meantime.

We are in this together to flatten the curve and to save lives!

3/18/2020

We are only seeing patients for emergency appointments at this time from 10am– 2pm. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Champaign Dental Group is continuing to follow the COVID-19 situation as it progresses. At this time, in order to maintain the recommended social distancing, we are asking that patients please remain in their vehicles until our clinical staff is ready to take you to your treatment room.

Upon your arrival, please text 937-771-6003 and let us know you are here. We will then send you a text when we are ready for you to come in.

Please do not use this number for anything other than arrival notification. General questions can be answered by calling our main number 937-653-8650.

At this time Champaign Dental is also requesting no one come back into our treatment area except the patient, and anyone waiting on a patient remains in the vehicle. Exceptions to this can be discussed on a case by case basis. Again, this is only to maintain the recommended social distancing which helps to keep us all safe.

The Champaign Dental Group staff continues to remain positive and we will continue to give the best possible care to our patients! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this event. As always, please feel free to contact our office if you have any questions. 937-653-8650
